Like adults, children too have emotions and can experience varying levels of stress from things happening to them or around them. Breathing exercises can help reduce the chances of making poor decisions, engaging in inappropriate behavior, or expressing negative comments. Taking a moment to breathe allows children to calm down and relax their minds and bodies, and in turn, decrease stress and make good choices.
