Following the defense of St. Vith, Belgium, in the Battle of the Bulge, 7th Armored Division Generals Robert W. Hasbrouck and Bruce C. Clarke received high honors and recognition. In 1947, they sought to recognize all of those who had served under them in the battle by recommending the Presidential Unit Citation for the Division and attached units. This book contains the official recommendation, with supporting documentation compiled by Major Donald P. Boyer, and the text of the award of the PUC to Combat Command "B" and attached units.
Wesley Johnston's search for his father's WWII experiences expanded to include all of 7th Armored Division. He is now the Historian for the 7th Armored Division Association and Founding President of the American WWII Association Historians Consortium. He holds Master's Degrees in History and Mathematics.
