Author Biography

Jose Andrade-Shihan is Kyoshi, 7th dan in aikido and 6th dan in jujitsu. His style, Mukei No Ryu aikido emphasizes effective, practical, self-defense, non-violence, and Zen applicable to aikido. In 2019, he authored the book "Zen Steel, Aikido Heart/ Aikido, Zen, and the Quest for Martial Way of Peace" (Zen Steel Media) David Nemeroff-Shihan is the owner and chief instructor at Aikido Masters Self-Defense Academy in Whitehall, PA. Besides earning black belts in several martial arts styles, he has been featured in magazines, television, and radio shows both nationally and internationally. Nemeroff is also the author of other books including "Enter into Aikido," "I Can Learn Karate," & "Modern Masters of the Martial Arts."
