She has co-authored two books with New Life's Stephen Arterburn, Gentle Eating and the Gentle Eating Workbook. Dr. Lamphear has appeared on radio and television describing her effective treatment methods. Through her international research, she provides EMDR to AIDS and war orphans in Africa. All proceeds from her books, tapes and seminars are donated to that effort. Dr. Lamphear lives in Long Beach, CA with her husband Ken, daughter Ryan and son Dylan.
