Her owner gives her to her best friend that lives in Texas. Anna discovers two yellow canaries in her new home that are named Ricky and Lucy. Author Biography

LaVonna Moore is a native Oklahoman born in 1960 at the Ft. Sill Army Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. With her father being in the military, she was able to do a lot of traveling as a child. She has lived in many states within the U.S. and for a short time in Hanau, Germany. Her father retired from the Army while living in Del City, Oklahoma, where she graduated high school in 1978. She has a stepson named Chance Storts. LaVonna has two brothers and two sisters. LaVonna began working in the legal field when she was 20 years old. She was a legal secretary for 20 years. LaVonna moved from Oklahoma to Texas about 11 years ago to start her life over after her divorce. She is living in a small town in the country. She purchased three acres of land and started an orchard of fruit and nut trees. LaVonna loves the country life and also loves animals. She has a Great Pyrenees named Angel, a calico kitty named Callie, two canaries named Ricky and Lucy, and a cockatiel named Anna.
