Meredith Cherry has been both a professional orchardist and a backyard gardener. She teaches gardening workshops, including many popular classes on apple tree care, in Northern California. She has been a guest speaker at events such as the Nevada County Home and Garden Show and at the Sacramento Master Gardeners. She is also the author of the Along the King's Road travel book series.
