A rumination on disruptions, on "life after so much death," an homage at times to resilience, and a prayer for the future, the poet seeks ways to keep this youngest generation, despite logic and the odds, "crazy for hope."

Abrams-Morley's poems are lyrical, narrative, accessible yet layered, filled with lush imagery and sly metaphor. Hers is a voice of a woman who has "been there, through it" and has come to a sort of fierce wisdom which she shares generously with her readers, while never becoming preacher or polemicist.
