At a young age, she tells her dog parents she wants to go out in the world and find a human family. She never did feel comfortable because she felt different from her brothers and sisters. She wanted to have a different life, not the life of a show dog or to be famous-just a simple life. She decides she wants to travel to Long Island, New York, to hopefully meet her new human mom and dad. Will Bella Luna find a forever home in New York? Will they pick her to be their new fur kid? Author Biography

Meaghan V Crimmins has been a lover and rescuer of animals her whole life. She has been inspired to write her stories based on the everyday life of being a Mom to all her fur kids. Bella Luna, her dog, an Italian greyhound, which she had for a little over 14 years, is the main character in her story. She now has three fur kids( all rescues), Max, a maltes, Toby, an Italian greyhound, and Minnie, an Italian greyhound/ jack Russell mix. She believes pets are not only pets, they are family and their love for their human is unconditional. Meaghan is also an elementary teacher and high school track coach and has been a competitive runner for many years. She has an MS in Education, a BA in Communicatons and has been a writer and artist since her young years. Meaghan lives in Glen Cove, NY.
