Welcome to Banalia, a town where books are forbidden. Author Biography

Luigi Spagnol fue el fundador y director editorial de Duomo ediciones. Más que un editor, era un hombre que hizo de su pasión una misión --la literatura infantil-- con la certeza inquebrantable de que leer conduce a la felicidad. Su legado en Italia es uno de los catálogos infantiles más significativos y respetados del mundo --con autores como Roald Dahl, Astrid Lindgren, J.K. Rowling o Philip Pullman. Pierdomenico Baccalario (1974) nació en Acqui Terme, una hermosa localidad situada en la región italiana de Piamonte, y creció en una vieja casa con más de 20.000 libros. De niño ya escribía historias en el colegio, fingiendo que tomaba apuntes. Ganó el Premio Battello a Vapore mientras estudiaba en la universidad. Desde entonces no ha dejado de escribir. Actualmente es considerado uno de los autores italianos más importantes de la literatura infantil y juvenil.
