Author Biography

Robert L. McLaughlin is professor of English at Illinois State University. He is the author of Stephen Sondheim and the Reinvention of the American Musical and coauthor of We'll Always Have the Movies: American Cinema during World War II. He lives in Bloomington, Illinois.Sally E. Parry is professor of English and is the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Affairs for the College of Arts and Sciences at Illinois State University. She is coauthor of We'll Always Have the Movies: American Cinema during World War II and editor of Go East, Young Man: Sinclair Lewis on Class in America. She lives in Bloomington, Illinois.
