This pocket guide is based upon the content found in Version 2 of the BABOK Guide. The BABOK Guide was first published by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) in 2005. Version 2.0 was released in March 2009. The BABOK(R) Guide describes business analysis areas of knowledge, their associated activities and the tasks and skills necessary to be effective in their execution. The BABOK(R) Guide is a reference for professional knowledge for business analysis and provides the basis for the Certified Business Analysis Professional(TM) (CBAP(R)) and the Certification of Competency in Business Analysis(TM) (CCBA(R)) certifications.
