Children of the 12 Tribes is a collection of artwork, stories, poems, letters, language lessons and Articles from the UN Declaration Of The Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), woven together with an ancient story that began 65,000 years ago.

Following the success of her first book, 'Colour Outside The Lines, One Girl, Two Tribes, ' Bernie Goulding has assembled a group of Indigenous children, young people and elders of all abilities, from across twelve tribes in the Oceania region, to share their stories with the world.

Bernie offers practical advice for Indigenous children and young people struggling to find their place at home, school, work and in the community in which they live. Children of the 12 Tribes also provides non-CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) people with a unique insight into some of challenges and experiences of Indigenous people in the Oceania region - the Pasifika people.

Proceeds from the sale of Children of the 12 Tribes go directly back to the 12 participating indigenous communities in Australia, Timor Leste, West Papua, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands, Tokelau, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Niue.
