In life, we face certain circumstances that can be so overwhelming there seems to be no hope. We all may face betrayal even by our own blood, such as the lack of love and validation on this earth, which can put us in a dark place. But with Christ in our hearts, we find hope that no matter what we go through, we can do all things through him.

The poems included in this book are filled with the hope we find in Jesus Christ. The author describes how God took her out of two very abusive relationships--an abusive relationship with her mother and an abusive marriage. Some of the poems just express a romantic side, like her conversations with the Lord. God's love can transform us in a way that we could never imagine. Through Jesus Christ, we find who lives within us and the person whom God created us to be. She hopes that by reading this, you, too, can find that hidden treasure God put inside of you.
