At the time some professionals, including John himself, weren't sure if he was going to make it out of the pit or not. His childhood best friend Jack also suffered from a mental health condition, but never made it out and went home to be with the Lord. This short book is dedicated to his friend Jack, and is a story of how the Word of God was instrumental in redeeming John's life from the pit and crowning it with love and compassion.
