Classroom Tales and Lessons Learned is about teachers, students, and their classrooms. It offers a window into today's schools which are quite different from the schools many of us grew up with or that we see on television. It's important to understand that this is not a book on educational theory or instructional practice. Instead, this is a collection of classroom stories and lessons I learned as an educator. New teachers, and those considering the teaching profession, will enjoy stories about teachers and their students, and will gain from practical tips and ideas. Veteran teachers will relate to these stories, as well as have their own, and can make use of ideas shared by a colleague.
