Prepared for the novice, male and female, this book is filled with the WORD of GOD which is our sword and shield. It is comprised of eight chapters and it is organized into four parts: 1] conversational content, 2] simple-to-complex prayer samples, 3] a workbook word search, study and reference section, and lastly a 28-page journal of blank pages for the novice to journal 'ah-ha' moments or make thoughtful notations.

Author Biography

Within 21 days after accepting JESUS CHRIST as her personal LORD and SAVIOR, the HOLY SPIRIT began to strongly deal with her in regards to praying for others and her call to intercession. HE began by showing her visions of how HE hears the heart cries of individuals, personally and collectively. As the years progressed, HE taught her many real-life lessons on who, what, when, why and how to pray, intercede and travail for people, situations and concerns of HIS heart; which was over 30 years ago. In those early years HE connected her to a wonderful, powerful intercessor Mrs. Estella Jones while she lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She stayed under her powerful tutelage for several years until she passed in 1995. Currently, she is a widow and resides in Chesapeake, Virginia. She is a mother of one (1), granny to three (3) and great granny of one (1). And as a Mount Global Fellowship of Churches partner and intercessor, she is under the awesome tutelage of Elder D. Goodrich who pastors The Mount Western Branch under our Presiding Prelate, Bishop Kim Walter Brown and Elder Valerie K. Brown. Bishop Brown calls Pastor Goodrich the 'Demon Slayer'. Pastor Goodrich's monthly or quarterly teaching and training sessions has enabled the HOLY SPIRIT to best cultivate, solidify and scaffold Dr. Roberts' ministry gift of intercession; to fight the good fight of faith, best handle the WORD of GOD and remain steadfast in fasting and prayer.
