We are all in such a hurry these days, with so much to do and so little time to do it, that often, while racing around in our own little world, we lose sight of those around us. Thus, we aren't even aware of the numerous times a day that we might have actually offended others. Nonetheless, whether we were aware or not, or if our rude behavior had been unintentional or not, doesn't matter, the harm had been done. With all this having been said, we all must make a concerted effort to become more aware of our own behavior. So how long are we going to ignore ignorance? It is truly alarming to me how many people lack even basic good manners and social graces in today's society, and I am not just referring to kids but adults as well. We need to reclaim our once higher standards of "common" decencies. So...ask your self..."What example am I setting?"
