These volumes are for anyone interested in Native history and wanting to be able to learn about the Crow culture, the nature of a people willing to fight to survive while never forgetting their past and who they were, to the present always considering their generations. There's also a challenging look at where Custer possibly fell during the Battle of the Little Bighorn and having been argued over and over again by so many different sources; from the old-time big screen, T.V., newspapers, magazine articles, military accounts, historians and politicians from one-hundred forty-eight years ago (1876); and with a rare statement from an eyewitness account coming from one Crow grandmother whose husband was a scout for Custer. He took her to the battlefield and showed her where Custer fell. Adding to the legend, but also stating from another reference as to what stage of the battle he fell, with whom and more.? This is a two-book series transcribed from National Archival records, while Volume II has many new illustrations included revealing not just the people but their culture and lives taking you back easily a hundred years, from offering the pipe to their daily lives through visual enhancement.
