Emmanuel Levinas (1906-1995) is perhaps one of the best-kept philosophical secrets of recent times. Donald Wallenfang, OCDS, Emmanuel Mary of the Cross, is professor of theology and philosophy at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.
