Author Biography

Marc Grau-Grau is a Research Fellow at the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS), and a researcher and coordinator of the Joaquim Molins Figueras Childcare and Family policies Chair and lecturer at the Faculty of Education at the International University of Catalonia (UIC). Marc Grau has a PhD in Social Policy from the University of Edinburgh, a Master in Political and Social Sciences from University Pompeu Fabra, and a degree in Business Administration from ESADE Business School. His research appears in academic publications, such as Organization, Journal of Family Issues, or Journal of Business Research among others. His research interests focus on fatherhood involvement, work-family balance, and flexible policies.

Mireia Las Heras is a Professor in the Managing People in Organizations Department at IESE Business School, where she is the Director of the International Center for Work and Family (ICWF). She is an Industrial Engineer by training, holds an MBA from IESE Business School, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Boston University. She has widely published and researched on Work Family issues around the World in high impact journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management Journal and Journal of Business Research among others. She has coedited five research books. She loves Social media and is rather active, especially in Linkedin. She uses Instagram to showcase her passion for drawing and photography. Hannah Riley Bowles is the Roy E. Larsen Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Management at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) and co-directs the HKS Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP). She is a leading expert on gender in negotiation, focusing on the role of negotiation in career advancement and the management of work-family conflict. Her research appears in academic publications, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organization Science, and Psychological Science. Her research has been featured in major news media, such as ABC News, National Public Radio, the New York Times, and Washington Post. She has a DBA from the Harvard Business School, an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA from Smith College.
