Author Biography

Tomás Roncero (Villarrubia de los Ojos, Ciudad Real, 1965) es licenciado en Periodismo por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid porque siempre mantuvo una vocación inequívoca por la información deportiva. Empezó en la Agencia Colpisa (1987 a 1990), en la que cubrió el Mundial de Italia de 1990. A la vuelta, fichó por El Mundo del Siglo XXI, donde cubrió los Juegos Olímpicos de Barcelona 92 y Atlanta 96, el Mundial de Estados Unidos en 1994 y el de Francia de 1998, además de la Eurocopa de 2000, en Bélgica y Holanda. En 2001 fichó por el Diario AS, donde permanece como redactor jefe de la sección del Real Madrid. En radio colaboró con Onda Cero en el programa El Penalty (1995-2000), El Tirachinas de la Cope (2000-2003) y Radio Nacional de España (2003-2007). En la actualidad colabora en el Carrusel de la SER. En televisión es colaborador habitual en la tertulia de El Chiringuito, junto a Josep Pedrerol, con el que empezó en 2008 en Intereconomía y continúa en Mega.
