It was their disobedience, which caused them to surrender the wonderful place that God had positioned them. Pride became a factor that led to their downfall. Remember that the Word of God teaches us in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." There are many contributing factors that can cause Believers to fall from grace, and honestly speaking, most of us do fall at some point in this journey.
