This book provides a critical review of global environmental governance as part of the broader process of sustainably transforming modern society. Karl Bruckmeier is a Professor at the Department of Sociology, National Research University - Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia. He formerly served as a Professor of Human Ecology at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
