She has enjoyed a twenty-three-year career as a health-care professional, starting out as a registered nurse and working her way up to an administrative and leadership role. She attributes her leadership skills to her personal life experiences and her journey from atheism to Christianity. Having to lead her family through many difficulties and serious life events opened the space for God to speak and work through her life.
