Author Biography

Gaye Lisby is an ordained minister, certified teacher, author, historian, and poet. She served ten years as a private counselor for women survivors of sexual abuse.

Lisby graduated from College of the Ozarks with a bachelor of arts in both English and psychology. Her first book Spiritual History of Branson-Land of the Osage is the result of seven years of intercession and research on the spiritual history of the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and Arkansas.

Lisby has four children and three grandchildren. She loves foreign missions and has ministered in Haiti, Cuba, Mexico, and the Philippines.
