This is the first complete English translation of Gefahr und Hoffnung des Technischen Zeitalters by Hans Sedlmayr, first published in 1970 by the Salzburg publisher Otto Müller Verlag. The booklet contains the text from four lectures given by the great Austrian art historian during the late 50s and early 60s.
