by Stephen H. Foreman (Author)

"In HOME: A LOVE STORY Stephen Foreman uses his gift of incisive and poetic language to capture the breadth and depth of humanity, relationships, a deep understanding of nature, and the inevitable passage of time that shapes us all. It is a profound work of heartbreak, humor, wonder, sorrow and, above all, love. It is his finest novel."

- Eric Rickstad, author of LILITH.

A poignant exploration of family, love, and the complexities of the human spirit, set against the backdrop of the rugged Catskill Mountains. The story follows Thea, a woman shaped by the wisdom and wit of her grandfather, Poppa, who raised her after the tragic loss of her parents.

This is a masterpiece of a novel, crafted with delicate sophistication, overflowing with warmth, wit and longing...Foreman brings his own exceptional life experiences and weaves them into a fictional interpretation of a life full of love-fully lived.

At its core, Home: A Love Story is about finding peace in the midst of grief and the enduring power of familial bonds. It celebrates the quieter moments that shape us and the unspoken connections that last a lifetime. With its rich narrative and unforgettable characters, this novel will resonate with readers who cherish stories of love, loss, and the enduring journey to find where we truly belong.

Stephen H. Foreman is the author of three previous novels, Toehold and Watching Gideon, both published by Simon and Schuster, and "Journey", published by Skyhorse Press. After a hitch in the Marine Corps and a host of treks in jungle, desert, and wilderness mountain terrains, Foreman finally came to roost and taught writing at various universities. Same year, same month Foreman was offered tenure he was also offered a three picture deal from Universal Studios. He snagged his ticket and migrated west to Los Angeles to work as a screenwriter and director. He now lives with his wife, Jamie Donnelly, and continues to write in the hamlet of West Kill in the Catskill Mountains of New York State.
