There are stories of many strong people who has over come this thing called addiction and I give them all their praises, but I feel that no one can tell your story better than you can. I feel so blessed to have survive my battle of a 30 year addiction. In this book I not only tell of the joys of being clean and sober, but the happiness of being reunited with family and friends and being part of my community not as a minus but as a productive member, God has brought me full circle back to the place of my birth. I believe that every test in my life was necessary, so that I can have a testimony of the wonderful salvation of God. This is my gift to my decendents that are yet to be born to this world that they may know of me and the strong roots that they are born from. This book reflect the joy of love in my life, the poems in this book reflect the trust I give myself that happines is here to stay and those dark days of letting something as crippling as addiction control me again.
