My hope is that you give this book a try even if you don't have a relationship with God, because I didn't either for a very long time. I had to hit the deepest depth of rock bottom before I started looking up. I've suffered through addictions, abuse, coping with the grief of a special needs child, to tragically losing my oldest son overnight. I wish I didn't have a story so heartbreaking to tell... But there's been a desire placed on my heart to tell my testimony in hopes to help someone else who've experienced the same trials. Author Biography

Growing up the daughter of a minister, you'd think I'd have had a more meaningful relationship with God. But I resented spending so much time in church, and as like so many, I strayed in my young adult life. Got caught up with the wrong crowd. Struggled with addictions and an abusive relationship for a number of years and all the terrible decisions that came along with it. Through it all, from at an early age, I felt a strong connection with the spiritual side. Always felt I could sense when tragedy was going to strike. After feeling like God abandoned me, I turned my back on Him for a number of years. Until the unimaginable happened, and I had no where else to turn, but to Him.
