King is Conjoint Senior Lecturer in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and Rector of the Parish of the Good Shepherd in the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle. He holds a DTh from the University of South Africa, published in revised form as More Than a Passover: Inculturation in the Supper Narratives of the New Testament (Frankfurt: Peter Lang, 2007). He has taught in Tanzania, and is the author of several articles on missiological and NT themes.
