Vocabulary is one of the most vital aspects of learning a language. Without a rich vocabulary, how do you express the things you want to say? Furthermore, many students will find that having a vast lexicon can be a huge help when taking exams or writing essays for school. And, though some words may not be used in every day conversations, less common words are still important to learn for certain assignments or standardized tests. Language is varied and complex. Your vocabulary should be that way too

To keep things simple, each lesson is comprised of just 10 words. Their meanings and parts of speech will sometimes be included to help you determine which word works best in each fill-in-the-blank sentence. After the sentences, you will read a passage. These passages contain the 10 words from your vocabulary lesson. Reading these words in a narrative context will help you understand how these words are used, and how you can apply them yourself
