by Kat Ward (Author)

Although long-winded and only covering a period of fifteen traumatic years, this biography is a true account of hidden child abuse. It is not for the faint-hearted. Kat Ward relates, with utter candour, her experiences at the hands of the mother who hated her even before she was born, her step-father, who regarded her as something to be used on a whim and her step-father's friends -- to whom he 'sold' her. Even with so-called 'professionals' involved and despite the fact that Keri told the truth to her teacher, priest, social workers and child psychiatrist, nothing got better. In fact, things got worse and worse.

Author Biography

Kat Ward is fifty something and lives in the United Kingdom in an ex-coal-mining village on the border of England and Wales which is beautiful and whilst rural, close enough to nearby towns so as not to be too isolated. Stress, anxiety and trauma have been so much part of Kat's life, right from the beginning that she has continued to survive everything life has thrown at her as if surviving has become a habit she absolutely cannot break. Kat gave birth to 7 children but, having been set up to fail, it would surprise no-one to learn that she only managed to parent three of them. The three boys, the youngest of which is just about eighteen at the time of writing, and Kat is enormously proud of them all. Nine cats and two dogs share Kat's home and are probably spoiled rotten, although being fur-babies, they don't realise this. Kat has a great many tattoos, none of which she regretted until she became old and then only because they've faded somewhat and the wrinkles rather spoil the effect! Given to rambling somewhat to anyone patient enough to listen, Kat has unlimited interests, opinions and complex views on very nearly every subject under the sun but thinks, in general, most of the human race is pretty nasty.
