Lost Truth About God So what is a Christian? What does it mean to be a believer in Christ? What do Christians actually believe? These are good questions. Questions that most Christians are no longer able to answer. For Christianity has (for the most part) gone away from the truths it held so dear and cherished so much in the past. The Christian religion has separated from the faith of Jesus and has instead elected to be more of a social club and a place of singing and dancing, where you try to "feel the spirit" by satisfying your own outer need of feeling good than answering to the more pressing need that the heart truly longs for a relationship with the Creator. We as Christians have so many questions that we long to have answers to. Questions our forefathers asked and answered through the Scriptures that we have forgotten. Questions such as: Is there an eternity of burning hell? (Page 31) Is there a soul and is it immortal? (Page 30) How can I be saved who am a sinner? (Page 38) What is sin? (Page 25) What is baptism? (Page 34) Who is Jesus? (Page 5) Was the law actually nailed to the cross and does it still apply? (Page 4) Faith by works or grace? (Page 39) These are the questions we have to ask because these are the questions that matter most. For no man on this planet, no person who has ever been born can truly say they are alive and have lived until the aching and burning desire of what is the meaning of life and what is the point of my existence on this planet has been fulfilled by the only one who gives us meaning and purpose: Jesus Christ our personal savior.
