The title, Love Letters, is a play on words. When we think of love, we get nostalgic and think of romance and yearn for it, if we don't have it. Letters refers to the letters in the alphabet that make up words that create poetry. A poet or writer is a master of words. A master can evoke strong emotion from simply combining letters in a meaningful way.

Love is and always will be a burning topic. There are an infinite amount of artistic expressions of love and there are many types of love. You have familial love, erotic love, parental love, platonic love, romantic love, self-love... Love can be fulfilling, unhealthy, abusive, unconditional, unrequited, obsessive, eternal or undeserving.

This collection captures different types of love. The author also shares the impact that love has had on her life. Perhaps someone will gain insight into their own relationships.
