A disease that occurs due to high blood sugar levels is called diabetes. There are three major types of diabetes, namely, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. The second issue is the inability of the pancreas to produce enough insulin to manage blood sugar levels. Certain lifestyle changes such as eating healthy foods, losing weight, and avoiding inactivity for long periods are some measures to prevent or manage the disease.
