About the Author
J. Canela Montgomery is a Puerto Rican Latina from East Los Angeles who went to undergrad at UCLA and earned her master's from NAU! As a counselor, she is passionate about social-emotional learning, diversity, trauma-informed practices, and making others feel heard, seen, and understood.
