Her publications include the popular series Poem of the Week and the more recent series My Very Own Poetry Collection. Additionally, she co-authored The Secret Life of Words: Poetry Exercises and Activities with Maria Damon. Ms. Franco has taught elementary through high school. She lives in Palo Alto, California, with her husband Douglas. They have three sons, James, Thomas, and David.
