Author Biography

Joanna Robson, DVM, CVSMT, CMP, CVA, CSFT, CIT is an integrative veterinarian and nationally and internationally renown speaker and clinician on the whole horse approach, the anatomy of saddle-fitting, recognizing the horse in pain, and understanding alternative medicine modalities. She is a co-founder of the non-profit Horse Industry Professionals Protecting Our Horses, and is a partner in Saddlefit4Life and Technical Director of EquineIR - an equine thermal imaging training program. In addition to her experience as a veterinarian, lecturer, and author, Dr. Robson has been a life-long equestrian, competing in the hunters, jumpers, and dressage. Her passion is educating others about recognizing the horse in pain and empowering others to make educated decisions about the welfare of the horse.
