Author Biography

Husband and wife team Chaplain Farris and Ruth Robertson write as one voice to bring hope to hurting Christian families. Founders of the nonprofit Recovery Chapel, a ministry for the long-term recovery of substance use disorders, and Recovery Literature, the Robertsons provide bible-based materials to help individuals reconnect with their chosen family, with God, and with the people of the world. Biblical comprehension forms the basis of a healthy relationship with God and creation, including others. With over 50 years of sobriety and serenity between them, the Robertsons bring the biblical perspective to suffering families and the sober perspective to Christian families. Their books include "Recovery for the Christian Family: Surviving Alcoholism" and "Executive Summary of the Bible." The Robertsons have raised two sons and attend Twelve-Step meetings and a Southern Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.
