How many people have the opportunity to swing a catch rope, settle the rope over steer's horns and pull the rope tight, smelling the heat generated from the tail of the rope racing through and burning the rawhide honda. In Catch Rope, I tried to capture and evoke those senses and take you there. My hope is that when you read each poem, you will touch and feel these things western.

A pharmacist by training, John has over 38 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. John is married and has three children.
