A growing body of EU law and regulation is preoccupied with the protection of EU citizens from health and environmental risks. Which chemicals are safe and should be allowed on the market? Author Biography

Maria Weimer is Assistant Professor at the Department of Public International and European Law and a Senior Research Fellow at the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG) at the University of Amsterdam. She is also an Associated Scholar at the Maastricht Centre for European Law and an Affiliated Fellow of the Amsterdam Centre for Contemporary European Studies (ACCESS Europe).
