Growing up in a small community with a large extended family, Roy spent much of his childhood outdoors-fishing, trapping muskrats, catching gophers, and getting into trouble...with his faithful dog, Lucky, by his side. "This made for a world every youngster should have the privilege of growing up in. Unfortunately, I realize that now more than I did then." In his memoir, Roy shares memories of a simpler time. Today, Roy lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with Judy, his wife of over fifty years and his high school sweetheart. They have three grown sons.
