Author Biography

LOU GARDEN PRICE, SR., always dreamed of being a writer like his early literary heroes: Donald Goines, Iceberg Slim and the late great Maya Angelou. In 1987 he read Sidney Sheldon's Master of the Game and from then on he was hooked. Between his time of growing up in the Bronx (NYC), graduating from Canisius College (NY), and traveling, he wrote a dozen street novels, short stories, heartbreaking poetry, including Latin Heat-under the sobriquet BP Love. It was during this juncture of his literary journey that he realized how much was missing in the street fiction genre he had confined himself to. He knew exactly what his writing lacked: risk, rogues, and epic characters as cold and ruthlessly unforgiving as the world we have all come to know.
