An anime adaption was later released and broadcast on TV in North America and received high acclaim. The following sequel, Afro Samurai: Resurrection, was nominated for the best feature-length anime at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. Okazaki also provided the character designs for Star Wars Visions: THE DUEL, Ninja Batman, and Sound & Fury; poster art for the manga Ghost of Tsushima; and cover art for Marvel comics among many others.
Japanese illustrator Peach Momoko is one of comics' most highly sought-after cover artists, her gorgeous painted artwork gracing many of the industry's biggest titles.
