Markie comes to learn the significance behind an unusual wolf-head ring as he begins to unravel the armory mystery. Aside from his investigative challenges, Markie finds himself conflicted in his personal relationships with the women in his life. Further complicating matters is the roguish Fishnet Milligan, a recovering former detective who is in the process of plotting shady dealings of his own.
