God displayed so many miracles in this book because He wanted the Israelites to be assured that He was with them day and night. The exodus itself was amazing because there were more than two million people leaving Egypt. Then came the most miraculous of all, crossing the Red Sea on dry land and bringing it back together over Pharaoh and his soldiers.
