When God placed writing this book on my heart, I was struggling and complaining to Him about the state of the church (Christianity worldwide) as someone who travels (50+ countries) and sees the moral slide and what seems to be a lack of urgency from believers to repent, speak God's undiluted truth, and let the Holy Spirit do the convicting. I believe my answer was to write what I believe and then let the Holy Spirit do what He does best-convict. I have deliberately shared summaries of all my points, so readers can do a dive or continue with more studies (both Biblical and scientific) if they so choose. I am trusting God in the purpose of this book, which is to clearly state that Christ is who we surrender to, explain the why of our surrender, outline how we can develop the discipline of surrendering daily when we understand the process biologically and spiritually, and what surrendering through utter and full obedience looks like and does for us on our earthly journey and in eternity.
