He is the author or editor of four books, including Medicine and the Ethics of Care (Georgetown, 2001) and has published extensively on issues in bioethics, human rights, and religious ethics. He is the past coeditor of the Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics and is currently an associate editor with the Journal of Religious Ethics.
