Author Biography

Jarmal Harris young 25-year-old phenom who is multitalented as a fashion designer and producer of unique fashion shows that incorporate the performing arts. His shows have thrilled Washington, DC audiences at such venues as the Wooly Mammoth (2010), the Arena Stage (2011) and the prestigious Carnegie Library (2012). He is also an accomplished and creative make-up artist and wardrobe stylist with experience in all aspects of media make-up: fashion, video and print. Whether his responsibilities take him on location to a motion picture set, tv studio, video session or a photographic shoot for a catalog, he creates a flawless look for his clients, no matter the gender, ethnicity or character portrayal. Past clients include America's Next Top Model contestant Isis King; Olympic Gold Medalist Venus Williams; Grammy-nominated artist Yahzarah, Bravo's real Housewife of DC, Michaele Salahi; fashion attorney, columnist and DC Fashion Commissioner Mariessa Terrell; Lauren Von Der Pool, celebrity chef and Howard Cromwell, publisher of DC's "Most Fabulous" Magazine. He continues to share his knowledge with DC youth and holds classes and seminars during the summer. He divides his time between New York City and Washington, DC.
