Author Biography

David was born into the home of a preacher's home in the late forties. From his birth, he was an adventurer. He moved to Alaska, as an adult, in 1981. In the middle eighties, while living in Palmer, Alaska, he staked a homestead of forty acres and built a log cabin that next winter. He and his wife, Janice and their adopted daughter, Reyna, braved a winter in the cabin in the nineties. During this long winter, they learned various winter survival skills. The Franklin Family Odyssey, a fiction book, was birthed from many of the circumstnaces that face David's family that winter.
